About: Leatherbury started 33 games for the Hillcats as she appeared in all 34 contests for RSU as a junior. After transferring to the Hill from New Mexico Junior College, Leatherbury averaged 4.7 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game and 21.2 minutes per game. She finished second on the team in defensive rebounds with 126 and total rebounds with 166 in her first season with RSU. Leatherbury shot 44.2 percent from the field and 60.5 percent on free throws as a junior for the Cats. During the 2011-12 season the El Paso, Texas native averaged 3.33 points and 2.63 rebounds per game playing for head coach Drew Sanders at NMJC. She finished her final JUCO season with a 49.46 field goal percentage while hitting 61.54 from the charity stripe. She totaled 10 blocks in 30 games played last season as a sophomore. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Genette Leatherbury.
