About: Cannon returns for her senior season on the Hill after helping the Hillcats to its final NAIA National Tournament run in 2012-13. Cannon averaged seven points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a junior earning her the team Windex Rebounding Award. She joined the Hillcats in 2012-13 from Cowley College after playing for coach Todd Clark. She averaged five points and five rebounds last season as a sophomore. Her junior season she averaged five points and six rebounds while being named First Team All-Jayhawk Conference. That same season she helped the Tigers to a 22-10 season and Jayhawk Conference Eastern division championship. As a senior at Las Vegas Mojave (Nev.) High School she earned Second Team All-Conference honors. The daughter of Tamika and James Thomas she said she chose RSU because “it provided a better opportunity for my future.”
