Biography

About: Taylor appeared in 16 contests in 2011 with a 4-1 record. He tossed 19.1 innings, striking out 18 hitters and allowed just one home run. As a sophomore in 2010 he played in 15 games as he hurled 22 innings. He compiled a 4.91 ERA and acquired one win. Taylor signed with the Diamond Cats after helping Seminole State College claim a Region II championship in 2009. He tossed five shutout innings during the JUCO World Series and amassed 19 strikeouts over 20 innings pitched as a reliever. Taylor said he chose RSU because “it’s a great school with a good baseball program.
