ANDOVER, Kan. – Rogers State Women's Golf opened the MIAA Conference Preview at Terradyne CC on Monday morning, finishing the round tied for seventh with Central Oklahoma.
 
RSU finished with a score of 296 (+12) after 18 holes. Southwestern Oklahoma State leads the way with a score of 287 (+3). They will head into round two with a one-stroke lead over Wayne State (Neb.), while Missouri Southern (+6), Nebraska-Kearney (+9), Northwest Missouri (+10) and Washburn (+10) round out the top five.
 
Lara Foigel, who competed as an individual, posted the best finish after finishing even-par with a score of 71. The sophomore from Neuquen, Argentina, finished the round tied for eighth after collecting birdies on holes 10 and 17.
 
Sophomore Lou Fourdan and junior Milena Andres led Rogers State's scoring effort, each shooting 71 (+1) and tying for 11th place individually. Andres scored an eagle on hole eight and birdies on holes six and 13, while Fourdan birdied holes three and 16.
 
Senior Lauren Anderson and freshman Renoctoviana Said both carded a 76 (+5) to tie for 42nd, while sophomore Clara Ledun finished with a 79 (+8) in a tie for 67th.
 
RSU will tee off for the final round tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
