About: Plotkowski returns to RSU after taking a redshirt during his first season on the Hill in 2014. He came to the Cats from Calvary Christian Academy, where he graduated in 2013, playing under Head Coach Mark Smith. The Arlington, Texas native was named all-state three times and was a four-time all-district selection while serving as team captain for three seasons. Plotkowski posted a batting average higher than .450 in each of his last three seasons with the Conquerors. He earned team MVP and Comeback Player of the Year honors in 2012 while being named Offensive MVP as a sophomore in 2011. Plotkowski also played football for four years earning all-state accolades twice and all-district honors three times. The son of Mike and Jill Plotkowski, he said he chose RSU because "I liked the facilities and the coaches."
