About: Olazagasti joins the Hillcats from Seminole State after an impressive two-year stint. In 2012 as a sophomore he finished with a .325 batting average totaling 50 hits, 13 doubles, three home runs and 25 RBI. He was named to the Gold Glove and All-Region 2 team as a sophomore. In his freshman season he batted .381 with 56 hits, nine doubles, four home runs, 39 RBI and 13 steals. Olazagasti was named to the Gold Glove and All-Region 2 team. He also helped Seminole State to an Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference championship. In 2010 he was named Oklahoma All-State as a senior at Collinsville High School. The son of José Olazagasti Sr. and Aracelia Rodriguez chose RSU because of “the good chemistry they have on the baseball team and the good coaching staff.”
