About: Spencer is back on the Hill for his senior campaign following a 2014 season where he made 22 appearances getting the start in 11 games at either first base or as designated hitter. The Vian, Oklahoma native drove in five runs while scoring four times and drew five walks. He delivered a pinch-hit, two-run double against Southern Nazarene and registered one stolen base during his junior season. Spencer came to the Hill from Connors State College where he played the 2013 season for Head Coach Perry Keith. He graduated from Vian High School and played baseball under Head Coach John Brockman. Spencer posted a .498 batting average with 18 doubles, one triple, and nine home runs as a senior in 2011 while recording 69 RBI. He helped the Wolverines claim a district championship all four seasons and was named MVP three-consecutive years. The son of Mike and Sandra Spencer, he said he chose RSU because "it's a great place to be."
