About: Day joins the Hillcats from Allen County College playing for coach Mark James. She averaged 14.2 points, two assists and 4.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore in 2012-13. Day shot 72.5 percent from the free throw line on her way to NJCAA Jayhawk All-Conference Eastern Division second team honors. Day spent her freshman season playing at Seminole State for head coach Rita Story. She shot 79 percent from the charity stripe while averaging seven points, two assists, and 3.1 rebounds for the Belles. In her final season at Edison High School playing for head coach Jonita Ford, Day averaged 10 points while shooting 83 percent on free throws. The daughter of Reshonda Day said “family means everything to me.” She loves shoes and food. Day said she chose RSU because it’s “close to home.”
