Biography

About: Campbell appeared in 40 games, starting in 34 contests in 2011. He had a .336 batting average, driving in 22 runs on 36 hits with a trio of home runs. He came to Rogers State after starting his career at the University of West Florida. As a freshman at UWF, Colton hit .115 with five RBI. Campbell helped lead St. Cloud High School to back-to-back district runner-up appearances. He was twice named first-team All-Orange Belt Conference in high school and was named Osceola County Athlete of the Week by the Orlando Sentinel. Colton’s brother, Cody, is a member of the RSU baseball team. Colton said he chose RSU because he “liked how the coaches were up front and were going to give me a chance to show my talents.”
