About: Goode comes to RSU from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M after playing two seasons under Head Coach Roger Ward. The Plano, Texas native's summer team reached the 2013 Connie Mack World Series where he placed third in the home run derby. Goode hit .298 in his first collegiate season for the Golden Norsemen in 2013 hitting four long balls. In 2012, he was named Defensive Player of the Year for the Home School Athletic Association Angels playing for his father, and head coach, Ken Goode. He and the Angels were the 2011 Homeschool World Series Association World Series champions and Goode was named a HWSA All-American and team Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year after hitting .444 with seven home runs. The son of Ken and Angie Goode, he said he chose RSU because of the "great coaches, school, campus, and lots of prayer."
